ABOUT MICHAEL
Michael Gary Walsh, M.D., brings a truly unique skill set to understanding human beings at the intersection of mental health and Christian spirituality. He is a board-certified psychiatrist and practicing physician in private practice. He earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, where he was elected to the Arnold P. Gold Humanism Honor Society. Later, he completed his psychiatric residency at the University of South Dakota, where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Walsh is also a graduate of Denver Seminary, where he obtained a master’s degree in Christian Formation and Soul Care. He currently serves as a lead pastor, adjunct faculty at Denver Seminary, and has published peer-reviewed original research in both psychiatry and spiritual formation. Additionally, he is a sought-after speaker on a variety of topics at the interface of Christian spirituality and mental health.
